Physical Features

A part of the Eastern Himalayas, Arunachal Pradesh stretches over 83,000 sq km. Almost 60% of the state area is covered by evergreen forests. Besides the forests, there are mountains, peaks, rivers and streams, making it a state of various scenic beauties.
