Industry

There are also some major industries in the state, namely the Bokaro Steel plant and Tata Iron and Steel Company Limited. The other industries are steel making units, industrial alcohol and paper plants, copper concentrate expansion, granite cutting polishing, steel blast furnace, crystal glass, steel rolling etc.

The state is very rich in mineral resources. The state is the leader in the country in the production of Uranium and Pyrite. The other minerals found here are coal, iron ore, bauxite, limestone, mica, graphite, copper ore, etc.
