Attire

The people of Haryana love bright colours, and at festival time one can see them dancing in their dazzling dresses with lots of glitter. Usually, women wear a calf-length ghagra, a short kurti on top, a chundri that covers their head, glitters with tinsel and lots of silver jewellery. The men are almost as brightly attired with their bright pink and read turbans, dhotis and kurtas and contrasting coloured sashes.
