Agriculture

Agriculture is the main occupation of the people of the state. 50 percent of the population depends upon agriculture for their livelihood. The state is the major producer of coconut, rubber, pepper, cardamom, ginger, cocoa, cashew, areca nut, coffee and tea in the country.
