Ethnicity

Majority of the people in this state are of Aryan origin. They are tall, wheatish in complexion and with large foreheads, similar to the people of Central Asia. A large part of the population follows Sikhism, with few people following Hinduism and Islam. Punjabi is the state language and is quite similar to Hindi.
