Agriculture

The Tarai region has great potential to feed the entire state by its large productivity. The district of Udham Singh Nagar has large farms and enterprising agriculturists producing large amounts of grains and cash crops. However, there is not much potential for agriculture in the large Himalayan tract in this state.
